wendell i,m sorry about the church folk you have met but please uderstand everyone that goes 2 church r not kingdom citizens but out here there is some real people of God that God can trust please keep the faith because God is in full control ,people forsake u but GOD will never let u down.annoited_blessed.

I feel you dude. There's one thing you need understand, the Devil must have seen your joy and therefore wants to steal it from you. His(Satan's) joy is to see you loose your cool and embrace hate for them that persecute you. The church folk are just a channel of his wicked schemes. Don't let the seed of discord get to you, use Love and more love to win this battle.

My friend, I know exactly what your talking about, but the one thing that keeps me going is that Jesus Himself was betrayed by His own people, so what make me think that my own Church people the ones the Bible talks about being your brother's keeper will not betray me. I have been to the RED SEA and Jordon with them, but yuh know we still have to love them, If only we can be on one accord things would be better, we tend to be fighting each other so much. Can you imagine the devil and his demons in one accord fighting to tear us Christians down. sometime you feel like you don't want to go to church, but just for the cause of Christ we put the extra effort out. I tell myself that it is "all about Jesus" and that is all that matters. they can kill this old body and lay it down in the grave, but "I've got Jesus" and they can't take Him away from me. Dont be discourage i think thats a phase all christians go through but the wheat and the tares must grow together until the day of harvest.Just dont be like them show them you are differnt and when you do that, it will reap heaps of coals on their head and always remember that the devil will appear as an angel of light be watchful for he comes in the form of any and everything just to make you give in and sin your soul.Be bless and keep holding on.

I feel you, when first i came to church i was all happy with my 'new found family' then when i was baptized and become a member, it all changed. Ive never felt so hurt! All of a sudden you realise what they really are and its shocking. But like Jesus said, he came to save sinners!

Don't let anyone still your salvation. church goers can be one of the most hypocrites u can find. They make u wonder y we call ourselves christians , by the behaviour exhibited. Don't let that stop u from gathering to worship. Lead by example. Be different and let god's light radiate from you.

Hey, you are not alone. The best way to deal with betrayal in the church is to forgive and move on. People will always let you down. For that, we must look upon Jesus, sinless is he. Be strong, take care. Much blessings.

I is sad to know that we offten get hurt by the people who we are close to or the members of the church we attend, it is sad but true. As an evangelist believe me I do get hurt but I try my best by God's grace and mercy to look at things from another angle. I have come to learn that people will test you before they trust you, because they have been hurt before and I firmly believe in the statement, "A faith that cnnot be tested cannot be truted." I have also come to embrace the thought that the Church that Christ built, that we can also read of in the New Testament, is made up of a body of saved but imperfect people who come from differrent backgrounds in race, family history, education, nationality, job posistion etc.. and because we all are human and able to make mistakes, As an Evangelist I need to still be kind to all and to keep showing them how sweet it is to practice and show love to all. May God help all those who have been hurt to lean on Him for comfort (Matt 11:28-30), and in doing this we will never grow weary in well doing. well i what have come to realize is that the church is a place where people gather to pray and worship yes but they gather to look and envy sometimes too and when a brother or a sister sees somone falling we dont bring them aside and SPEAK WITH LOVE we caste down with glory thinking better of one self WHEN WE DO GOOD we just say brother God bless no public notice no encouragement to go on most of the time just another good thing no surprise there but if you sin TELL IT TO THE WORLD when will this stop

I am in that same position as you are but i want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus,if you want to get on the mountain top ,u need the valley experience, which does not always feel good .But Remember God says he will not leave us nor forsake us.Take refuge in knowing that it will be over one day--hold on ,dont give up

Dear brother in Christ, I know how it feels to be hurt my the ones who suppose to emulate Christ. I liked how they put it on the movie "Fighting Temptations" when people rub you the wrong way think of them as sand paper. When they are done with you, they will be worn out but you will be fine and polished. Remember it is not the church whom you are serving but Christ and prayer for your members who hurt you. In the house of the Lord, u will find the good, the bad and the indifferent and this is a fact. Everybody in the church aint save, everybody in the church got issues that need to be worked on, so not one of us can say we dont have weakness and thorns in our lives. Always remember that these circumstances are there to break you or make u so brother make sure u always have that attitude that u will let it MAKE U, am not saying u wont hurt or get frustrated because u expect better from your brothers and sisters, but thank God we know that HE dont fail us and always remember too that at some point in time u will hurt somebody too and believe me more will happen but all of this is the process of God working on us and in us.
