Hi After discussions with my pastor and elder and with much help and prodding from the Lord the first branch of 'Overcomer's Outreach' has started in Manchester UK.  We are not just restricting it to alcoholics but have opened up to all who have habits, addictions and hang ups, things have started slowly as expected (and wanted) I have never run anything like this before it  meant doing a short bible or 12 step study each week and until the helpers have more confidence I am having to do this each week  but God is faithful He has given me the words I need each week and I am trusting HIm for the future. One Man who has a drink problem has not taken a drink since December 26th;  I am trusting God for his release from his addiction.

Three members of the group, myself included are recovered alcoholics; on pastors instuctions we no longer call ourselves recovering we declare and claim our healing and since we started doing this none of us have had any cravings!!!! Praise God and as we have done nothing other than stop declaring ourselves to be alcoholics all the glory for this miracle goes to our heavenly Father. What an awesome God we serve. So if you get the call from the Lord to step out in new areas don't worry, He will make sure you can handle the task He won't let you get out of your depth, just trust Him.
